JetSnag collects your email address to send you flight deals. We don't sell your data. We don't track you across the internet. You can leave anytime by hitting unsubscribe.
Who we are
JetSnag is a flight deals newsletter operated by an individual based in Idaho, USA. We can be reached at deals@jetsnag.com.
What information we collect
- Email address — when you sign up
- Subscription status — whether you're Scout (free) or Pro (paid), and when you signed up
- Send history — which deals we've sent you so we don't send duplicates
- Payment info — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your card number. We do receive a record that you're a paying subscriber and what plan you're on.
What we don't collect
- We don't run analytics scripts on you
- We don't sell, rent, or share your email with anyone
- We don't track which deal emails you open or click — open tracking is disabled
- We don't set advertising cookies
- We don't have a Facebook pixel, Google Tag Manager, or similar
How we use your data
- To send you the flight deal emails you signed up for
- To process payment if you're a Pro subscriber (via Stripe)
- To respond if you email us a question
Who we share data with
We use a small number of services to operate JetSnag. Each handles a specific piece:
- SendGrid (Twilio) — delivers email to your inbox
- Stripe — processes payments. They never share your card with us.
- Netlify — hosts the JetSnag website
- Formspree — handles the signup form
That's the complete list. We don't share your information beyond what these services need to do their job.
Your rights
- Unsubscribe at any time — every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email deals@jetsnag.com.
- Cancel a paid plan at any time — visit jetsnag.com/manage, no phone gauntlet.
- See or delete your data — email us. We respond within 7 days.
- California residents: we don't sell your personal information.
- EU/UK residents: our legal basis for processing your data is your consent (you signed up) and contract (you bought a subscription).
How long we keep your data
We keep your email and subscription history as long as you're subscribed, plus 12 months afterward in case you want to come back. Email us at any point to have your records deleted sooner.
Security
We don't store your payment information — Stripe does. Your email and subscription record is stored on encrypted infrastructure. We use industry-standard security practices, but no system is 100% secure. We'll notify affected users in writing if we ever discover a breach involving their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we'll update the date at the top and notify active subscribers by email. Continued use of JetSnag after the change means you accept the new policy.
